Kokeshi is back with the debut EP by Konessi. Reminiscent of Martyn's early foray into dubstep, and the sounds of TRG on Hessle Audio, 2562, and Peveralist , this made our ears perk up immediately. Those beats were a big influence which we hugely supported in the early episodes of the Kokeshi ((pod)) Kasts .

Bearing that in mind we had to get on board and were hooked immediately by the deep shuffling grooves of these tunes. So fun to mix with , it will one day be great for the clubs but is also lovely for home mixing , listening and grooving to on long walks.

Blending elements of UK dub and electronics, Konessi's Hypnotic sound taps into a primal part of the subconscious. Based somewhere in the UK- all we can tell you is that they are a duo and ...we like their stuff.
